Alison
Motluk has been a journalist for 15 years, writing for publications
such as New Scientist, The Economist
and the Globe and Mail.
She’s done several
documentaries for CBC Quirks and Quarks,
including “See, if you can hear this”, about learning to see with your
ears, and “Blinded by science”, about her own experience being
blindfolded for a week.
She has also written and broadcast widely
about the fallout from scientific advances in
reproduction.
Long ago,
she was a host at the Ontario Science Centre, where she did the StarLab
show, the Electricity Show, and made paper out of banana peels.
She lives in Toronto.
